Elizabeth, the owner of The White Elephant Interiors has always been passionate about interior design, but looked at it as more of a hobby. A graduate of Purdue University, Elizabeth went to school for psychology, something she wasn't very passionate about.
Since graduating college, getting married, having children, and experiencing life Elizabeth finally decided to take the plunge and live out her dreams....to make a career out of something she is so passionate about, interior design.
Her dream all started with wanting to make the "unwanted" beautiful and wanted again. She loves to be surrounded by beautiful and unique things. Items that most people would turn their noses up and never take a second glance at Elizabeth finds beauty in them.
Elizabeth finds joy and excitement in taking a piece of furniture, cleaning it up, finding the perfect piece of fabric for it, and adding a touch of paint! She loves giving old pieces a new life and a new home.
Not only does she have an eye for the old, but she has quite the eye for the new up and coming trends in interior design. She has great taste in fabrics, accessories for the home and everything in between!
When asked what her style was Elizabeth described it as being "eclectic. I don't believe in sets of furniture. I love an unexpected twist and that is exactly what you can expect from The White Elephant Interiors."
